    Hi,

I suggest you have your GP refer you somewhere to have an endoscopy carried out to see what is going on.

    Hope this helps

When you read the side effects stomach pain can be one of them.

Two of my female neighbours stopped PPI's went on strict diets and now feel great.

i have tried to stop taking ppi medicine but if i missed medicine for 1 single day it feels like i am going to die out of acidity .doc told me to have a ct scan of whole abdomen . fingers cross may be its not serious disease

It is very seldom anything serious but it is difficult to cure. I basically stopped for three months just taking the odd one on a as needed basis. Then I took aspiring for a few days and my stomach was on fire and worse than ever.

It can carry on like this for ages . And do u feel like your getting pain from gallbladder too ? . Are you getting any silent reflux too as that is part of it . You are not alone as I've suffered for a couple years and been taking ppi's and even they don't help much anymore . Silent reflux affecting my throat etc . Maybe you need another endoscopy or ct scan .

its doesn't feels gallbladder pain . lower abdomen pain is more like kidney stone pain or colon discomfort. uper abdominal pain is burning all time &also the area is painful 24x7 . acidity is also 24x7 chronic doesn't matter if i eat healthy food or plain water . the only thing i am worried abt is that if acidity continues like this it can develop life threatening disease

You definately need a abdominal ct scan . Is the acids causing alot of heartburn . Do they rise into your throat at all
