I haven't opened my bowels yet

Hi

I have colonoscopy tomorrow am.  Had a bowl of chips at 1230, tablets at 1400, awful drink at 1410 and repeated awful drink at 1800, I couldn't finish it. There is about 20mls left I thought best to leave it rather than try and drink it and throw it all up.

I haven't opened my bowels yet, just wondering if this anyone else has experienced this?  Some gurgling and wind but thats it.

Going to try some clear soup in a mo hopefully that may help

Thanks

Keep drinking plenty as you don't want to get dehyrdated BUT don't worry it can take a while for the gusher to come and when it does...........

Thanks so much.  I feel a bit nauseous but will try and force fluids down. Just boiling some chicken soup minus noodles so hopefully that will do the trick.

You'll be fine. It will work. Eat drink per the instructions and don't worry.  Sometimes it takes ages.

Hi sorry your got this problem, I would advise to finish it all off. When I had the drink it took an hour to work. Soup is a good idea though. If no movement then just tell them at the hospital.

However I had a morning apponmtnet and had to fast from 9am the day before.Good luck
