Been with the same partner for 20 years. only had each other besides a couple of sexual contacts previously. I applied apple cider vinegar, the area turned white. I applied that for the next 5 days for 10 minutes, now its all gone so the sexual health nurse couldn't see anything.

what do I do now?

Hi, yes it looks and the fact that it turned white when apple cider was applied leans towards warts. Does it currently look like the pic posted ? or has it gone away completely ?

Its completely gone so I'm not sure what to think. The gynaecologist and sexual health nurse looked at me like i was crazy and said they saw nothing of concern. The gynaecologist said the still was too hard to tell and the nurse said it looked like normal mucosa. I beg to differ. It was rough, spread and turned white. But I've only been with one person ever and he's the same. Could it be from previous sexual contacts?

It looks like it could be something that just came up. If it were indeed warts they may reappear. They can stay dormant for awhile and suddenly appear. Was there any changes to your discharge when you had the growth on your labia ? You know it could very well be nothing as i seen that happen before just like you. Nurses looking at you like your crazy .

HPV can be dormant for a long time. It definitely looks like warts, I think you should get swabbed.

There's nothing left to swab. Its all disappeared.... gynaecologist has offered to do a biopsy but I'm not sure if there's a point. I had thrush at the same time as these rough bumps appeared but they were still there after my treatment and only disappeared with 6 days of apple cider vinegar

hiii! i have the same thinnnggggggg, my gyno says its 'lichen planus' but i'm going to do the biopsy! i think this cound't be HPV because apple cider doesn't work so fast... but i don't know

sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language.

I only had a picture to show as I look completely normal now! lichen planus wouldn't be cured with acv though. everything I've seen or read says it has to be warts 🤦🏼‍♀️

Just to update. I had a skin biopsy to test for hpv and there was none present. Assuming that even if the apple cider vinegar had worked to treat the symptoms, I would still be hpv positive. So that's a relief
