I wondering if Magnesium is working for most to get rid of the ringing noise.

Have you told your doctor? There are many causes of hearing your pulse in your ear. The simplest is wax blockage in your ear canal. The others are in between that and rarely, a tumour. Ask your doctor to check your ears and if they can't find a cause, ask for a referral to an ENT who will perform a hearing test and possibly scan you to see what is going on. Most of the time it is NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT but don't waste your time with Magnesium. You don't know the cause yet and the pulsing can go as quickly as it started.

hiniv been suffering with my left ear for over two years or more with pulse noise i found out in december i have a tumor behind my ear i had an mri scan which showed nothing my fault as i chickend out of ct scan, but i see the doc again on friday so il prob get told i have to have ct scan with contrast, so mris dont always pic it up the o ly reason i know i have a tumor is because the doc can see it behind my ear drum. im not sure what type it is but its some kind of glomus tumor dont know much else. i was sent away alot by gos telling me id got to stop pocking my ear to its infection to i need gromets all was wrong. i now had jaw ach on my left side and some dizzy spels and neck pain so i duno if its related but i feel iv been havi g all this for years and only now i know its going to get sorted some how. i dont know when though and that scares me, as iv had it so long and then even thoe they could see it in december i. still waiting around in febuary. iv googled most of what i know as the ent only told me i had a vascular mass behind my ear drum. i saw my go again after that as i was worried and upset waiti g around and he had a good look and realised what hed missed all this time which was a redness coming up from the floor of my ear, he said it looks to be the size of a losenge as far as he could tell. prob is why couldnt he or the other three gos i saw notice this befor iv conplained enough? anyways im tryi g to find others with this problem who had had treatment in uk as iv only found peolle in american forums. i want to know what to expect here in uk.

Sorry that you have this condition.  I also have it but mine has gone from high-pitch to low frequency tinnitus.  It sounds like a motor engine/roaring/tuning fork sound in my right ear with hearing distortion.  I am going to try magnesium.  I am trying gingko and b vitamins along with a low salt diet.  Hope you can get some relief as I know this is driving me insane since Dec. 2015.  Also you may want to have a CTA scan of brain and neck to rule out vascular problems.
