Insomnia is another thing altogether isn't it. Its probably one of the main causes for my anxiety along with physical pain and symptoms/illness.

It's takes a long time to overcome the sleep side of things as we all as anxiety sufferers over think and worry about everything, and when the body wants to relax and rest, it's when the brain can wake up and this can sometimes cause us to not be able to shut off.

Your sleep will definitely be a up and down recovery and unfortunately it's just something that won't go away forever with a pill.

You will eventually sleep better, but my advice is to teach your brain to think differently about lack of sleep and the frustrations it causes you.

It takes years to overcome it and if your anything like me, a sleepless night can literally wipe me out completely, whereas other people can just have a coffee and get on with the day.

If it continues, speak to your doctor about maybe getting some CBT in regards to sleep and anxiety. If your in a position to. If your in the UK they can offer this free on the NHS but it's a long wait as you may know if you do live here.

    It will Get better though.
