Burning, itchy, and i woke up today to very short lashes not all gone but length has gone. drug companies realize we are a world of untapped profits I'm
afraid there is not much research on Bleph.....too bad for us.

However there has been some occasions when it was better
than other times. I do believe I had a week in 2003 that was
good......no seriously, it does ebb and flow. Some days
are better than others.....keep your sense of humour
and maybe that will make you feel more upbeat....

still waiting to learn it....I think probably the only good thing
about Bleph is that it is not terminal.....I've got issues that
I have to deal with and feel blessed that they're nothing that will
kill me just annoy the hell out of me......and actually Bleph
is second on that list.....
Do the warm soaks and gently clean lids with lid cleaner
such as Occusoft and it will get better. Maybe take a
couple of Aleve or something over the counter if you can
and it will help with the pain.....

The second thing was to find what works best for me and stick with it. I'm definitely not cured, but for the last couple of years I don't have to think about it too much.
I use wipes 3 times daily and artificial tears and that's it. If I were to insist on eye makeup, I would be back at square one and suffering greatly .... it's just not worth it.
If you stay positive.... It helps

up the eye-make-up. It's pretty awful to look at yourself in
the mirror and see a blank face with swollen, red, crusty
watery eyes. I feel for those that work, they have to go out
and face the world. However if you want the Bleph to get
better and be bearable you have to get make-up off your
eyes. I was working when diagnosed about 25 years ago
but had no problem giving up the make-up to get relief
from the Bleph. I'm still doing warm soaks and use
Occusoft wipes to clean the crust off. Problem is that it
comes right back. It's a daily fight.......

mascara wands on Amazon.....I think that some ladies
used them thinking that you keep infecting yourself if
you use the same make-up. You use one of these and
then toss it. Something to look forward to....
