I'm 16 and I have severe joint pains help?

For years I have been suffering with several symptoms one of the worse being constant headaches. But lately I have a horrible pain in the bottom of my legs when I walk. Its like the bone is broken in half on both legs in the same place. I also get back pain and arm pain regularly and the doctors where I live done seem to take the pain seriously? Can anyone suggest things that could be wrong? I'm in so much pain and it makes simple tasks so difficult and the thought that I'm 16 and this is already happening is really getting to me 🙀🙀

if you have your query moved over to simply bones, joints and muscles you may get more response.
one thing though you must get your GP to fully look into your symptoms and if they are at a loss, refer you to a specialist who hopefully can help. All the best, christina

Sometimes, because of the way statistics are presented, people whom we think are far too young to have either PMR and/or GCA are not.
Yes 16 is young and it is extremely unlikely, but there are recorded cases of a 24 year old and a man of 33 who was told he was far to young three or four times and unfortunately died. Yes, he had presented with classic GCA symptoms, but he was 'far too young'.
Yes, you are correct this young lady should visit her GP and take a parent, guardian or close friend with her and fight her corner.

I had back pain when I was your age and it was probably back muscles that were not particularly strong - lots of exercise of the right sort will help there and physiotherapy special exercises to stregthen the right muscles.
However - get someone responsible (mum, dad, an aunt) to go with you to the doctor and tell them they need to send you to a specialist to see if they can identify what is wrong. It is difficult when the symptoms don't really fit anything particular. I think what you say about your legs hurting sounds as if could be what is called shin splints - the rest doesn't really fit. Maybe your "adult" could ask the doctor to please check your vit D level because it can cause these symptoms too - my daughter had a level of 12, some doctors accept 30 but even that is far too low, it should be at least 50! And I'll bet you don't spend much time outside in the sun do you? It can lead to bone pain too.
Do try to find someone to go back to the doctor with you and ask them to please help in some way as it can't be helping your schoolwork to have the pain all the time.
Good luck - and do come and tell us if they ever find an answer.
