I’m 16 and I think I have prostate cancer!

Hi, I’m a 16 year old male and a bit less than a year ago, I felt a pain at the tip of my penis when trying to pee that goes away once I start my actual pee. Soon after, I noticed a few drops of blood come out after my pee finished and occasionally I noticed some blood in my semen. I went to the gp and had blood tests and collected a sample of my pee. They ruled out anything to do with my bladder or kidneys. Still to this day I am still experiencing these pains (which only occur when trying to pee) and blood. I am really scared that it could be prostate cancer, please help.

    Hi Jonathon

I am not sure what your problem will turn out to be but I doubt very much that it will be prostate cancer. Ask your Dr for a PSA blood test just to put your mind at rest.

    All the best

Jonathon,  I doubt very much that it is cancer of any sort ,but you need to go back to the doctor if you are still experiencing this problem.   Did the doctor actually examine you?  I think you may need a doctor to do this . Dont be embarrassed about it.

Are you circumcised?  Is your foreskin tight? ie do you have problems drawing it back?
