    Hi John.

I don't know if this type of test will test for things like that but I couldn't swear to it though.

If it does, I know from my time when I was a senior manager for a company & we drug tested employees that the guy doing the testing told me Pot can stay in your system for upto 9 weeks if I remember right.

As I say though I'm not sure if a Dr will test for it on a physical or not???? Try googling exactly what physical it is & what they normal do during the physical.

    Good luck mate

A typical physical isn't going to drug test you. As a minor, your mom might be able to pay extra to have you tested, and yes pot does stay in your system allot longer than most drugs. But for a physical, I don't think you have to worry.

If you did get tested, I'd be honest about your use. If you have issues, do yourself a favor and handle them while your young. If you don't have issues, have a frank discussion with your mom about the relitivly low dangers associated with pot use, especially the liklyhood of addiction, and especially compared to alcohol which many teenagers use and hardly ever get tested for. As a 37 year old recovering alcoholic, I think my mother and I both wish I would have used pot as my recreational drug of choice at 17!

Sleep easy, you're pry not getting tested. But now is the time to really think about how you're are using. Stay safe and don't become an addict! At 17 I said I'd quit drinking if I thought it was becoming a problem. By then it's to late.
