floaters are not normally a problem esp because you are so young.

dont do a retinal laser procedure if you abe a retinsl tear unless you know the risks - like ongoing flashers

Hey Zach - Do you wear glasses by any chance? Sometimes prescriptions change and the eyes get out of balance causing double vision. You should be able to have this easily corrected. Floaters become more apparent to us as we get older, try not to focus on them too much because it can drive you crazy. Your brain learns to adapt at some point. In any case... it's absolutely the right thing to do to get a thorough eye exam, so do not skip that appointment! Please keep us posted on what you find out, ok?By the way, anxiety is prevalent these days. You are not alone! In my day doctors didn't even have a diagnosis for it. I'd be "home sick" or just "under the weather." I think with all the pressures your generation has it's no wonder so many young people are riddled with anxiety. Even us old folks are on edge most days! Please take extra good care of yourself, ok? There is a lot of educational material out there that you can use to help control those panicky moments. Meditation, breathing exercises, yoga, visualization techniques, walking, painting... find something that works for you and don't hesitate to see a doctor if it starts to interfere with your living a normal life (whatever normal means haha).
