I'm 51 and have been taking oral contraception every day with breaks for 12 years. I stopped 3 months ago to see if I was in menopause. I have not had any bleeding but within 2-3 weeks I had extreme pain through all of my joints! I can barely walk my feet hurts so bad, and my hands ache to the point I can barely hold a pen. the pain is constant and nothing helps. Is this common? How can I fix this?

    Hello Summerann,

i have the pain in my feet as well. whenever i day down for a while or when getting up in the morning i can hardly walk. i got plantar fasciitis now. never had any problem with my feet, now suddenly more than one. also all my joints hurt as hell. i feel like I'm 98 when I'm really only 51. it's so frustrating.
