I'm 7 week post op right total hip replacement,

I was up and about more or less straight away, showering 2 days after op, house work, cooking, after a week taking my time, driving after 4 weeks, but all of a sudden out of nowhere ive got pain from my hip to below my knee, i have been able to not take pain relief for almost 5 weeks, but now im struggling, its painful walking, my leg feels tight, no swelling or heat, but throbbing like pain in my leg especially from the groin area down, i really want some advice before i approach my doctor.

    Hi Maria, you sound like me, I couldnt begin soon enough to get going with my housework and other activities. I even walked around a theme park, a day later and my hip is so sore ribht where my scar is.

    I am back on pain relief, guess its all about doing too much to soon, rest up.
