It has been over a year an I keep getting BV.  No matter what I do it comes back I have seen 2 doctor but nothing they give me work long term. After treatment the BV comes back a month later.  The odor is so bad that others can smell it when I use the restroom.  As you can imagine it’s extremely embarrassing and depressing.    I am so self conscious about it that I try not to use the restroom at work.  I also think that my coworkers talk about me, because of this.

I completely know where your coming from :”( I actually just had to quit my most recent job because of odor... it was so bad and I worked with all men! They always said something like “what is that smell” and I’d leave the area or go to the bathroom... I always have to keep tiny perfumes in my bra to spray myself when I can smell the odor start to get worse... it’s horrible! I already have had depression and anxiety my whole life. Now I see a therapist bi-weekly and possibly starting anti-anxiety meds this month sometime... it’s truly ruined my life... it seems for some women there’s an easy fix, but for women like me I have tried EVERY home remedy and every antibiotic my Gynecologist could prescribe to me... nothing works. I noticed that after drinking alcohol or coffee it gets worse. You need to buy a live culture probiotic (the type that needs to be refrigerated) and yes they are expensive but that’s just what it take. Also take vitamin D take those daily and make sure you are letting your lady parts dry all the way after a shower. I just ordered tea tree oil vaginal suppositories and I am going to see how those work for me. I will keep you all posted. Feel free to message me on here if you have any questions.

Hi K.... Have you tried soaking twice a day (if you can) in bakling soda and water? 1 cup of baking soda in a tub of warm water.   Or try apple cider vinegar twice a day in warm water.  I do that 4 times a week and it really helps me.  It sounds like a BV yes.  The strongest treatment i s Clindamycin.  Maybe ask for a Gyn specializing in vulvar disorders.  They do exist!  Best wishes.
