I'm beside myself with worry

I'm currently on p.I.p and my husband gets income support for us both and the children,and carers too. Last week we got a letter about a telephone compliance interview.today they rang and to my horror said they had recieved an anonymous letter stating my husband was working and I'm not as bad as I make out. I'm beside myself with worry even though this is false I'm so upset and paranoid what will happen please can anyone give me a ray of light, depression and anxiety is part

    Sorry i ran out of space, this has made my anxiety 100%worse its I'm now convinced they will be watching my every move and stop all my money I've done nothing but cry and be sick with nerves all day, how can people be so cruel, if the Dow still doubted us would they have asked us to come in, they just left the call saying just to let them know of any changes xx

      Easy for people to say, but I do think you have nothing to worry about.  You have done nothing wrong & if the DWP have received a letter, then it can only be from some silly, sad person who has nothing better to do with their time.  The DWP does not doubt you but they have to follow procedures.  I am sure all will be fine. x

    I'm so sorry to hear this, do you think it might not be from the DWP, maybe someone has a grudge and is making a call pretending to be important.

    I probably don't have a clue what I'm saying, but just a thought.  Please let us know how you get on x

      Thankyou for replying hun, it was a legitimate letter from dwp hun then when they rang they said they had recieved an a nnonymous letter,I now have my anxiety levels going through the roof xx

      Ths saying is if u have done nothing wrong u have nothing to worry about so pls dont worry as you ha e nothing to worry about also you can ask for the copy of the letter its freedom of data dont worry its pathectic what some people do to try ans make you worry hold your head up high and sod them !

    If you've done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide then you've got nothing to worry about. There's some nasty people out there.

    Thankyou so much everyone who has replied,I've not slept yet,my anxiety out of control now and paranoia is full belt tooimagining I'm being spied on now xx

    Oh dear this is so bad. sad

    Please gather as much information from your GP, Hospital etc as you can.  If you are genuine and your husband is not working then everythign will be fine. It is so sad that there are jealous and vidictive people out there. They are even jealous of people who are sick.
