I'm considering suicide, but I'm scared too.

it's an odd feeling because, I have everything to commit. Medication, sharp objects, a noose.

When crossing busy roads (that people have been hit by cars on) I don't look just walk and feel so scared but so relieved. When the cars stop I almost feel let down. As I don't want to Injure others, I've held knives to my wrists and my head went blurry as I was going to actually do it. but I burst into tear and I would want to upset my parents. My life is not the best. and I just want to feel at ease, to sleep and never wake up and feel relaxed and I feel like everything I wake up it feel like sleeping. forever.

    Hi Faith23,

We note from a recent post which you have made to our forum that you may be experiencing thoughts around self-harm. If we have misinterpreted your comments then we apologise for contacting you directly. But if you are having such thoughts then please note that you are not alone in this, and there are people out there that can help.

If you are having these suicidal thoughts then we strongly recommend you speak to someone who may be able to help. The Samaritans offer a safe space where you can talk openly about what you are going through. They can help you explore your options, understand your problems better, or just be there to listen.

Their contact details are on our patient information leaflet here: https://patient.info/health/dealing-with-suicidal-thoughts, which also offers lots of other advice on how you can access the help you may need.

If you are having such thoughts then please do reach out to the team at the Samaritans (or the other people detailed in our leaflet) who will understand what you're going through and will be able to help.

If you are based outside of the UK.

The Samaritans is a UK based charity, but they also have suggestions for how you can access help in other countries.

Please have a look at this page https://www.befrienders.org/directory

Faith, we don’t really know what happens after we die. So why would you want to take that chance that you took your own life and have to face God.??God put you here for a reason and you were created with gifts and talents.

the first thing to do is get some support. If money is an issue, go to a church and talk to a pastor. They can provide resources for you or even have counseling right there.

you have to take the first baby step!

You need someone to help you find your way and give you some direction and support. can you talk to your parents and tell them how you are feeling?

I’m sorry that you are feeling depressed but death is not the answer. God gave you inner strength that you need to pull up right now. To devastate your parents would be just awful.

you need somebody to talk to now!here is a number that is available 24 seven if you are in the US. they will talk to you and also have resources in your area. 800-273-8255.

High Schools and universities also have confidential counseling.

YOU wouldn’t believe how much better you would feel just in talking to somebody!

Fight for yourself and your life!

One day you’ll look back and be so glad that you are still here. The way you are feeling now it’s just a short snippet of time in your life.! ❤

Jesus spoke , "Get Thee Behind Me Satan"

sometimes, this Satan creates such thoughts in mind.

With Faith in God, destroy such thoughts.

But only you can speak and affirm , " Get thee behind me, Satan,"

In night before you sleep , you muster your faith within and affirm "I am protected. I cast away all my burdens and give them to God" then relax and sleep.
