i'm experiencing heartburn while tapering on amitriptyline , anyone else went through that ?

I'm a 20M diagnosed with IBS-C had a nasty flare up accompanied by moderate to severe anxiety during quarantine , my GI perscribed me 10mg amitriptyline(drops) and it helped me sleep and i felt better in terms of my bloating etc.. fast forward a month later he told me to taper down and use 10mg only when i feel overwhelmed and so over the course of 3 weeks i made it to 4 mgs (few days ago) and i noticed that i started having heartburn after every meal ,nothing too nasty but still i was alarmed i'm wondering if it's a part of the tapering process or if it's just the side effect and if any of you had a similar experience
