I'm extremely worried

About a week ago I started feeling like there was some mucas in my throat. A couple of days later my chest started feeling some discomfort. I went to the doctor and the diagnosed me with just a sore throat and that my chest was because of

anxiety. Then they just sent me home, telling me to gargle salt water. However the feelings haven't gone away. I am freaking out because I'm worried that it could be some kind of esophagus or laryngeal cancer. Can anyone help me figure this out? I have a meeting with my doctor this Tuesday and I'm extremely worried it could be something bad. I'm a 16 year old male and I just want to live my life and grow up to do great things in this world. By the way I've never smoked or drinken anything. I just really need peace. Please help me!

Its unlikely for you to have cancer if you never smoke or drink and are young. I would talk to your parents and get a scan or xray done just so you can stop worrying. Its likely to be nothing.

Thank you for your support. I've tried to get my parents to take me but they refuse! But do you think it could have something to do with acid reflux? You don't think I've developed something bad do you?
