I’m feeling of sadness are overwhelming on lexapery.

I've been on lexapro for just over a year. My depression is still not in check. Had a real bad day struggling with thought and very low feelings. I'm on 22.5 mg since Oct 1. 20 mg since Aug 1. so frightened of having to titrate off this medicine. I’ve been on Prozac, Effexor, Paxil, zolft and now lexapro. I wish this would just go away. Seeing my doc today and I do therapy once a week. i’m just trying to get normal again. Please heavenly father bless me and keep us all safe from this evil feeling of depression and anxiety. Amen

    I was on lexapro for 19 years and it always worked for me. Went off for one week because i ran out and then went back on and have been a mess ever since. Dr keeps saying I need to give it time to get back in my system. It's been 4 weeks and my anxiety and panic has been so bad. i got switched to Effexor today due to the panic. i was also prescribed a anxiety med. Took that and it took the edge off.

    I just want to feel better already. I went to bed one night fine and just woke up this way. It's like being trapped in hell.

      Well went to my doc and she's putting me back on Zoloft. Coming off lexapro as of tonight every four days going down by 5 mg. Zoloft worked for me last time and well hope and prayer it gets me back to where I was before. I just want to be back to my normal self again. God bless !! Hope you get back to normal too. Keep praying God will provide.
