Three mg is a very low dose. If your CRP is still raised and you feel fatigue you should probably stay at this level for a few more weeks then try tapering by .5 mg . How have you tapered so far?

You've done well to get so low so quickly. I am still on 11 mgs after 2 and a half years.
At such a low dose the pred is not doing you much harm you know?
I would stay on 3 mg and wait for your adrenal system to kick in which may be causing the fatigue.
If you go too low too quickly you risk a flare which could boot you back up to much higher. Go cautiously .
Good luck!

The withdrawal symptoms vary each time there is a decrease in prednisone -- at least in my experience. Hang in there -- after 8 months I am at 7 mg/daily.

If your CRP is raised - was it ever reduced and how low?
Wait - PMR requires a median duration of 5.9 years management - i.e. half of patients need pred for just under 6 years. Only 1 in 5 are off pred in a year, about a third by 2 years. This early days and 3mg is an excellent low dose for long term management.
