I'm getting a little disappointed in doctors

I've had my right operated on, 6 weeks ago, scar looks great, but very painful on the right hand of palm.  My scar feels like it burns, on fire.  My left hand was operated on 2 weeks ago and, the stitches were removed, incision is split open all the way, and looks yellow,  and the doctor says its fine.  Let the air hit it.  Anybody else have had this problem, should I go to the hospital and have it checked out??

    Hi Sandra,

I had my right hand done 9 weeks ago and I also have the burning feeling at the scar area. However it has gotten a little less. Whenever I move my thumb left to right it does still hurt. My hand is still stiff at the area of surgery. I do make a fist and open wide all day. I've heard from many others that it can take up to a year to heal. Everyone is different. After I had the stitches removed, my incision was open for a long time. It did heal and it looks great today. I would never have thought so before. I didn't have any yellow look to it like you are having. I don't know about that. I still cannot put my hand flat on the ground with any pressure. It is bugging me because I don't know what kind of exercises to do for that. Hang in there Sandra.

thank you for your encouragement, I will patiently wait for the healing...This hurts more than the way it was...so....I will wait a bit.  Also do the fist and open, and the queen wave, and circles.
