I personally wouldn't of been able to go back 2 days after 🙈 I work in a class to - it takes it out of you a little I was so tired and a bit sore for a few days after

I tried to get back to work as soon as I could as I had it in term time - I had a week off to be sure but could of gone back after 4-5 days

Be careful when working don't bend down to much or don't pick any kids up even after 2 weeks I forgot about the pain until I picked up a child then it stretched my stitches the pain was awful

Every one is different tho I have spoken to some one who works in an office and was back 2 days after

I personally would not have been able to return to my desk based job 2 days after my band surgery as i was sore and my abdominal area was very stiff - you wont be able to lift, stretch, bend - even getting up of a chair is difficult - also i was tired and lacking in energy - the after affects of a general anaesthetic can also wreak havoc on your body and diff people react in diff ways - i had 3 wks off though i could have returned after 2 wks at a push - whilst everyone is different i would have really struggled plus driving was out of the question for 2wks so if you rely on driving yourself to work this is soemthing you need to check out cos to drive against your consultants advice could invalidate your insurance - my advice from my consultant re driving was to wait 2 wks and then only if i could do an emergency stop comfortably
