I'm having a nasal septum biopsy with cauterization, what should I expect?

Posted , 1 user is following.

I've had spontaneous nosebleeds from one side of my nose for over a year, particularly from one visible spot that does not heal.  My GP used silver nitrate to cauterize it last year, but they continued.  The ENT is taking a biopsy of the area and cauterizing it tomorrow.  What should I expect?  I cannot imagine that this will be easy to tolerate.  Any advice?
