I would definatley ring for an ambulance, and at the very least get them to check you out.

Remember to tell them you have a baby, if you have to take the baby with you, if they want to transport you.

I would hate to think it just might be something serious, and you NEVER IGNORE chest pains.

I have been told by a Dr that people who have ignored pain are not with us any longer, and they will be very relived if it is indigestion, I was the same, and the first thing they tried was some stomach settling medication, turned out my chest pain was a accumulation of fluid between my heart and the sack your heart sits in, could have been very serious If i had continued to ignore, because that fluid restricts the movement of your heart and its ability to beat.

Hospital doctor told my wife that they never find a reason for the chest pain that 50% of people come with.

Hi megan, I've had the same symptoms for 3 weeks and have been to hospital twice both times my heart was checked with a EGK and came back normal but I'm still suffering pain, like yourself I have young children and this out me if going to the hospital, but please go to your doctors at least better to be safe than sorry, I still don't know what's up with me but after some chatting on here I'm thinking I may have costochondritis, I'm off to my doctors again tomorrow morning to see if I can get answers, hope you feel better x
