I'm having sharp chest pains and can barely even move.

I'm only 14 but I have been having sharp chest pains on the left side of my chest and radiating into my left shoulder and arm. I went to the ER and they said I was all clear and the eats were normal. They said it must just be muscle pain but it hurts so bad now that I can't even sit or stand without having breathing problems... It hurts as i breathe in and out and I can't move or stand still anymore without this pain. I don't know what to do, please help

I think, jaeden, that you believe you have a serious heart problem.

The ER found out you didn't.

Now, you think they were wrong. You want someone to suggest going back to the ER for more tests, probably.

Lie in a dark room, with no noise at all. Concentrate on breathing deeply and don't concentrate on the pain, which is anxiety-related.

I'm sorry you're going through this at such a young age, Jaeden. Keep in touch, ok? Other people will reply soon.     xx Tess

Okay thanks... I went again because I was freaking out this morning. They prescribed me a pain medication to help me sleep at night and it's been feeling a bit Better ..

Last night the Meds helped me to sleep a bit but at the moment it still really hurts and I did take Tylenol a little while ago. I have to lay down for the pain to go away mostly. And I can't even sit down long enough to have my breakfast but I'm gonna try and deal with it. Thanks so much Tess, it's helping a ton. And you too Dawn, I'm hoping it's just inflammation or muscle pain and that it will go away within the next week or so.

Hey is there any way to talk? The chest pain has been gone for a while now and that's all fine. But I'm having other problems...

could be that you have pulled a muscle i would try ibuprofen to ease the pain and inflammation.

or see your GP for further advice
