I'm in Florida and wondering if the hurricane can effect dizziness

Hi group
I know its a silly questions, but I'm on the west coast of florida and I know this hurricane is going to effect our weather some, hopefully not to bad, but I am wondering is it possible for it to effect dizziness. Our weather is changing already even tho the storm is still a few days away, but I noticed last night I felt like I had a ping pong ball inside my head and very off balance, of course still with me today, so I was just curious. If so I suppose I'll be dizziness for a few days and I may need to kick in the xanax to help. I'm taking the 10mg propranolol nightly but I don't think its helping the dizziness yet, its such a low dose.
I know the last big storm we had come threw I was dizzy for days and silly me couldn't figure out why until it passed and it all stopped, well went back to baseline, it never really stops.
THanks for any help

Good morning
I may have allergies, I have sneezing attacks all the time. But I think this weather is effecting me, I feel like I have a ping pong ball going on inside my head, and these darn off balance when sitting and falling and dropping sensataions, I've been having the falling and dropping for about a week now, but it feels worse now. Also di you ever feel like you your moving and in your periphreal vision you can see the things around you look like they are going up and down like a wave, I get that occationally. I hate that.

My doc tryed steroids first on me. Didnt do a thing. She said she gives them to people who get off a plane and feel dizzy.

My doc told me she's had people call after flying. The pressurized cabin didn't bother them. its after that. My knee doc told me if you get on a plane with a head cold or sinus infection. when the plane lands it will hurt. Ears and sinuses.

Where in Florida are you? I'm in sarasota. It's cleared up here today and I'm hoping the dizziness stops or at least goes back to low level.
What diagnoses do you have? I've had MAV for 16 months and I wish it would just go away. Granted it's better than it was but having dizzy and off balance on most days gets old.
I hope your feeling better.

I'm in Fort Myers. It was weird how the dizziness intensified with the hurricane. That has to be it.
I have MS but 19 months ago I got a different dizziness than my MS dizziness that I have had for over 25 years. I never had the spinning with MS but this time I did. I think a virus set it off even though the dizziness came 2 days before the cold symptoms. It has gotten better but never went completely away. I chickened out finishing with the ear dr tests because I didn't want to do the cold/hot thing as I remember just being outside in the cold back in Ohio made me horribly dizzy. Anyway with researching almost constantly and reading others' symptoms, which I have most of and also reading how most drs can't figure this dizzy stuff out I have concluded myself Lab/VN or MAV or both.
I am sick of it though and as you know changes life alot.
Nice to hear someone is close by that understands. I have lived in Naples and have family in Sarasota and Punta Gorda so I've been all down the west coast. Haha
Hope we can say one day soon the dizziness has ended.
