I'm pretty sure I have vestibular neuritis.

So 4 weeks ago I came down suddenly with lightheadedness and severe vision changes( when I turn my head side to side or up and down it takes my vision a while to catch up with my head). This feeling never goes away it is with me always. This was 4 weeks ago. When I wake up in the mornings I can automatically tell that everything is still the same. It is so frustrating. In my first week I went to the ER because I also had chest pain heart flutters (I'm sure now those were anxiety from living in a nightmare) the docs did a CT of my head and cervical spine and all was clear. They gave me meclizine and sent me home. I then make an apt with my GP and he orders a sleep study and a eye doctor appointment. What????? I did go to the eye doc and I have perfect 20/20. Horray! but the dizzies continue. So I am going to another doc in a few days. I have stopped working because I work with numbers and money and can not keep up because of the brain fog and visual distortion. Almost forgot I did go to an ENT and he told me that he could not diagnose dizziness that he did not even have a hearing test machine. He gave me prednisone because he said my ears may be full. The sterile only seemed to increased my symptoms and made me more nervous feeling. My husbands friends wife is a physical therapist specializing in vestibular disorders. ( what luck!) she said she is sure I have VN and gave me some visual exercises to do. I tried them last night and got the worst headache and made the dizzies worse I almost threw up. She said I am supposed to keep doing them or I won't get better. She said they will get easier. Today was a bad day I cried most of it thinking of my life before this. I just bought a brand new car and now hardly drive it. Only short distance. I think I may need something for depression and a Anxiety to get through this. I wish I had leg pain or something that didn't consume my whole life. Anything with vision balance or the brain just consumes you!! No offense to anyone with leg pain I'm sure that is miserable too but you can take pain meds for that. This you can't do anything for. Ugggg! I heard that I need to do normal activities but it is so hard because I fatigue out after 30 min. My 10 year old had a orthodontist appointment today and it was awful. Bright lights, people everywhere and the doc was explaining stuff to me and for the life of me I don't know what he was saying I was spinning to much to keep attention. I feel like I failed and am failing my kids and husband.

Doing the exercises wrong or to much can make you worse. They will make you dizzy but if they make you sick or the bad dizziness last for hours, your over doing it. A neurologist can tell you if it's a brain thing. A neurotologist deals with the problems of inner ear and brain connections. Your ENT should have ordered tests like a VNG to narrow down the problem.

You do not seem to have vestibular neuritis.  You did not describe sudden vertigo, which is typical of this condition.  I am concerned about the eye movement problems.  Did any of your doctors so far check your eye movements?  Did they note anything?
