Do you think you might have Endometrioma?  I had a hysterectomy last June due to a cyst which had grown so large that it was attached to my colon and I could not have a bowel movement.  (PAINFULL)  Before I went into the hospital last May when they discovered the cysts, there were months of abdominal bloating and I ignored it --thinking I must have IBS or some other routine stomach condition.  To provide a little background regarding my disease which came on in 1993; it included years of awful pelvic pain, bloating, and inflammation -- and went undiagnosed by a medical community that didn't have a clue and didn't really seem to care either.  The only way I could maintain a life somewhat free of the disabling pain was by taking birth control pills--and I did so from 33 till 50.  When I went off of these pills that is when the Endometriosis came back with a vengeance and it was determined to take my life this time.  When they removed everything they finally diagnosed me with Endometriosis and the Cysts were Endometrioma.   I am so much happier now without the stuff in there that has given me so much pain for so many years.  I still suffer crazy allergies and don't know what is going on with my thyroid.  I had the right thyroid removed last year when they thought I might have cancer, but did not.  They couldn't get a conclusive biopsy.  I have three nodules on my left thyroid and one of them is growing really fast.  I too have arthritis-- in my neck and middle back and it's so painful. I just got steroid injections for the neck today and am lucky to be poor enough that I qualify for Medicaid. Our medical is so unfair it is completely shameful that the richest country on Earth allows people to suffer this way. God bless you Sherri and I sure hope that you can get something done soon.  It's a very scary thing not knowing what is happening in your body.

Hi Sherri, I would go and get a 2nd opinion from a specialist. Is the doctor you went to a gynaecologist? It wasn’t until I saw a gynaecologist that I got diagnosed and fast tracked for surgery.

If you don’t like what you hear fonto another doctor, it’s obvious you are in pain and they need to figure it out for you. You should not have to suffer with that! Good luck.
