So, on 31/12/2021 i had sex, the same night i started feeling tingling effect and irritation in my clitoris, i went to the doctor and got my culture test done, it was minor UTI, i got an ultrasound done and minor UTI was detected, i got the medicine and completed the 5 days course. After that around 17th i started feeling an itch near my vagina, i checked in the mirror and could notice a small tear/ cut on the perineal (the skin between the vagina opening and anus), the itching increased and a lot of discomfort, i went to the gyno and was diagnosed with Vaginitis, the doctor said there was an infection in my vagina, i completed my 5 days course of antibiotics and applied the cream given too and the itching went away and the tear was healed. I got my periods on 2/2/2022, and today is my 7th day and i see the perineal tear again but without any itching or discharge but i'm still very scared about it happening again, what should i do please help me. i can show photos for a better view. i hope to god it's nothing serious, i'm very scared !

I AM ATTACHING PICTURES. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU SEE ANYTHING UNUSUAL

if you are worried the best thing you can do is ask your doctor for a HSV culture test. CDC does not reccomend testing due to the stigma. but if you want to know its your right as the patient. this to me does not look like a case of HSV from what i have seen but if you have cuts and lesions and they are not going away it is best to be tested. blood tests can give a false positive and need a few months to be somewhat accurate. this allows the bkdy to build antibodies. a culture test is 99% accurate and can give results after it is cultured and tested in a lab (6-10 days) but your cuts and lesions need to be active and not in a healing state
