I’m really worried this is Parkinson’s!!

I’m a 26 y/o male who up to a year ago was perfectly healthy. It all started September 2017 with a couple of weeks of constipation, and several trips to the GP. After this I started to experience mild anxiety attacks, heart palpitations, dizziness and lightheadedness, chest pain that radiated around my shoulder and arm, and fatigue. This continued for months, with more than 15 visits to the GP, and a couple of visits to A&E convinced something was seriously wrong. I also noticed this slight internal tremor. On holiday in April 2018, I became more aware of a tremor in my hand, this caused me chronic stress and worry about MS, a couple of days later I went into atrial fibrillation and had to be cardioverted (quite rare for age) in a foreign hospital. Since then I have had numbness, pins and needles in my hands during the night, insomnia, muscle twitches, a resting tremor that is becoming worse, bad finger twitching. My MRI was clear, but am very worried about Parkinson’s with my resting tremor and internal shaking/vibrating. I’m sorry this is so long, any help/experience greatly appreciated!

Never be sorry when sharing your symptoms. The more the better. My feet are shaking, tremors as well as my hands and head. The head tremors affect my vision, everything I see is vibrating. The positive thing is that it lasts for about three hours. When I saw my neurologist last she told me it was Parkinson-like symptoms. Maybe you experiencing the same thing... I know it’s scary but a “like” symptoms is comforting... Maybe I’m trying to convince myself.

Sam09095 since my tremors began there's not been one positive treatment for me.
My neurologist began putting me on a multitude of various types of tremor medication to control my tremors they either had no affect on my tremors or worsened my tremor activity or I had horrible mind-altering side affects from some of them. After a year of failed treatment for what was diagnosed as essential tremors my doctor wanted to rule out Parkinson's Disease, so I was referred to a movement disorder specialist for further neurological testing that doctors conclusion after my evaluation was that she really felt I had Parkinson's, however, in order to determine that diagnosis was to have a DAT Scan. This is ” from what I was told” the only test available to accurately rule out or diagnose Parkinson's.
I had my DAT Scan done in Arlington TX in 2017 it came back negative for Parkinson's. My tremors are considerably worse today, I am now faced with the alternative treatment to have a brain stimulator or a relatively new ultrasound procedure that I know nothing about. I am currently scheduled for a second opinion to see a new Movement disorder specialist in July for my condition and learn more in-depth about those procedures.
I hope this information helps you as to what you can discuss with your neurologist or treating physician as to which direction you and he or she may want to go in. Good luck to you.
