I'm scared of my MRI results?

Hello! I'm a 16 year old female and I just got my first MRI yesterday and the doctors said that they will give me a call Monday (I got it of friday). I am so terrified that they will call and say I either have a brain tumor or MS! Everyone I know swears its just stress or something wrong with my neck. Even my GP didn't see a reason to get an MRI. So if someone could over look my symptoms and maybe give me a piece of mind.

-I get random sharp pains up the left side of my head and in my face. (I've notice that they happen when I move my neck sometimes but they just kinda happen whenever)

-I get bad tension headaches often but there's not a specific cause.

- I'm dizzy a lot and feel very disconnected from everything.

-I have sharp pains in my left ear and eye.

-My jaw and neck constantly hurt.

-I tried getting a massage on my neck and shoulders and after they finished it felt like my spinal cord was throbbing.

-I don't know if its related but I sometimes get pain in my left arm and in my hips.

-These symptoms don't seem to bother me at night or in the early morning.

If anyone could help that would be great. I already have a heart condition And I don't think I could handle another thing like that. Please help me out a little?

    Micaela,

There are so many things that these symptoms can be. But first off, try not to stress. Ik that's easier said than done. Iv had alot of yr symptoms. Have had for awhile now. I'm sure yr mri will come out clear. Are they doing blood work to see if inflammation is high? If maybe do that. I take curcumin daily for inflammation and that seems to help me. See what mri shows, then go from there. Chances are it will show nothing..then have inflammation checked..if high..go from there..no panic...just keep moving 4wrd to get answers..

Hello young lady. I understand what you're going through as I have been going through something very similar. I recently had an mri and cat scan. The tests showed a nerve being pressed in my spine. That's causing my right foot to be numb on half my foot. The other issue is my left shoulder needs to be replaced. I also had a serious head injury when I fell 16 ft. There is a lot of tension in my neck and I get headaches. My fall was 8 months ago and now I'm seeing some hope. Staying positive will help you. Don't be afraid to see other specialist if your not feeling a positive connection with the ones looking after you.

They came back normal and said that everything was most likely caused by stress, anxiety and neck issues.

I am hoping that your account is connected to your email.

Basically I am experiencing the same exact symptoms as the ones in this post. Do you have any follow up on anything? My neck is also sore.
