I'm so scared right now

My anxiety has peaked it's maximum and I'm shaking with fear, I feel disconnected from my body and it's scaring me so much. I've been having trouble with mirtazipine I think it has stopped working so last night I stopped it, I'm going cold turkey because of these feelings of being disconnected and I've been having panic attacks for a few weeks!!! I'm so scared right now 😢

How long have you been on Mirtazipine and what dose?

I'm coming off it soon as couldn't tolerate higher dose. I completely understand the disconnected feeling as I get that whenever I try to stop and relax.

Can you see your gp? Are you open to trying a different medication?

Anxiety is harsh and plays these awful games with our perceptions. I feel for you.

I'm on 7.5mg and have been on a year...I started on 15mg but only for a week then have been on 7.5 all the rest...My mirtazipine has stopped working and I feel like I have had withdrawl symptoms for weeks! I've been on citalopram for 6 years at 20mg

Never EVER just stop your meds sweetie!!

I've been there and I know. Ran out of Venlaxifin (my depression medication), and became the biggest b** ever!!

Then there was the time I ran out of Lorazepam and felt so out of sorts, I thought I was nuts!!

Please go back on your meds..and if you're out..contact your MD. It's not medically right to go off your meds just like that..you should be going off them a bit at a time if you're serious about no longer taking them.
