Back in April I noticed I had a cold sore forming on lip it was very tiny and unnoticeable I just felt it so I immediately bought blister and applied it and by the best morning it was gone. A few weeks later I notice like 4 bumps in my butt crack- they didn't hurt or anything they were just there. I honestly don't remember if I was having any discharge or anything. I just left it alone because they weren't hurting and I had no other symptoms. Two weeks ago I was nairing my pubic area and the nair touched it and it burned like crazy and turned red. But in couple minutes it was fine again. Last week I went in the pool and I guess that infected it and one of the bumps turned white I guess it got infected with puss. After that it was burning when urine touched it but that's all. Two days after it was fine again. But I started noticing some white discharge like a yeast infection. I haven't had sex in a while before noticing these symptoms and I have yeast infections a lot so I'm not sure if it's a yeast infection or I may have herpes.

For quite a while actually it's almost as if they were going and coming because i didn't notice they were there at all and I'm not sure their so weirdly placed that I can't see- are they supposed too?

Herpes bumps/lesions don't last a very long time, and for a first outbreak, should be fully healed or almost fully healed at 3 weeks (much less for recurrences). During that time, there is a progression in the way the bumps/lesions evolve (blister/bump, open sore, ulcer, maybe scabbing). If your bumps are mostly stable looking and have been around for much longer, they're unlikely herpes related. Herpes also doesn't typically come and go repeatedly without a definite period of them being fully gone.

Hi there, I think my symptoms are very similar, a few bumps inside my left buttock towards the top, there seems to be no break between them going down and more arriving in exactly same spot. Nothing on my lady parts. No pain, just a bit irritating, none of the other symptoms of flu, or aches etc. They seem to go in a few days then come back again. This has been happening since January, when I visited my GP, who said it was herpes but offered no tests at all. I've been in a long term relationship for eight years now. I'm 54, could HRT have an affect? Any
