I’m starting my hrt therapy with elleste 1mg tablets

Can anyone on elleste 1mg tablets give me some feedback? Thank you

    Hi elena

    I took elleste a loooooong time ago. In the main they were okay, but I did suffer from eye migraines, cramping and bloating so didn't continue. This was probably about 10years ago. I've tried hrt over the years but I now take bhrt with utrogestan, sandrena and testogel. It's a more natural option which I was more comfortable with, as opposed to synthetic but we are all very different and what works for some may not work for others. They all take about 3 months to get the full benefit from the dose, but you will start to feel it way before that depending on your symptoms. All the very best of luck, I hope they help xx

      Thank you..I’m bit apprehensive about starting this treatment..I tried the patches a year ago but I was having strong abdominal pains plus they kept falling off so I stopped. Thank you again

    Hi Elana my periods were months apart then coming every couple of days! I would bleed for 10 days then stop for maybe 2-3 days then bleed for a fortnight so I went to my GP who recommended HRT and I started elleste 1mg but got put on 2mg to control my symptoms and it was the best thing I ever did as it regulated my periods and got rid of the hot flushes and sweats. I hope this helps. lol

      Hi Anne,  I had my last period 2 years ago  and since then my life has changed..almost for the worse. Now I need to do something about it but I’m so scared because  there are so many pro and cons. I feel like I’m taking a gamble and I’m not a gambler by nature...thank you again. X

    I started on Elleste solo 1mg (in conjunction with a Mirena coil) which worked almost immediately without any side effects but after 3 months I was suffering from horrendous fatigue so I was changed to 2mg and haven't looked back. Pretty much all my peri symptoms are under control (flushes / sweats / fatigue / mood swings / anxiety) and I don't appear to have any side effects.

    Good drs normally start you on the low dose HRT pill, if it isn't working after 2 monthly cycles, you may need the 2mg, like I did. Hope this helps x

      Thank you..I’ll start on 1mg. I’m going on holiday in 2 weeks..should I start my therapy when I come back? Xx

    I would start it before you go on holiday as it may help with your symptoms. the sooner you start the better.lol

      Hi Anne, I’m a bit worry I’ll have some side effects while on holiday...
