I'm starting Orlistat.. need advice..

Posted , 4 users are following.

So I need to lose around 3/4 stone. 2 would be good though..

Ive been given orlistat but know nothing about it and havent been told anything about it other than reading discussions on here and review etc.

My worst fear and the reason I havent gone on it sooner is because of the 'side effects' that i keep hearing about.

Can anyone give me any good tips?

Advice on what to eat and what not to eat

How to avoid side effects

And anything else I should know..

Much appreciated smile thanks!

Hi just a few tips and pointers:

Check labels on food its not great going over 5g of fat per 100g of food so if it's anything over you will get the side affect

Breakfast: Porridge or cereals under 5g, toast with alternates to butter/marg I.e cottage cheese low fat or fat free smile

Lunch: jacket potatoes with LF fillings or lean meats, ryvitas or I've actually found u can hve a Blt with brown bread no butter/marg lighter than light mayo and grilled bacon with all fat off no side affects, soups etc

Tea/dinner: lean meats with potato and salad, fish in butter sauce with veg and Yorkshire pudding small one.. Prime steaks also basically watch your fat intake and stick to a low fat diet and you will be fine x p.s stay away from Indians 😷 haha
