This is all very normal. Im a year in now and I started feeling much better at 15 days. I still had side effects for a couple weeks, but much better at 15 days. Hang in there and try to brush off the anxiety as best you can. When tou feel it building ip, tell yourself its anxiety and it will pass. I had sleepless nights also, but it does improve.

Im on 20mg and struggled with sleep due to increased anxiety, I started to take small dose of melatonin though and that has helped. Gp offered short course of sleeping pills as its common side effect but i declined as its only a week then you end up back where you started anyway.

Hope things improve for you x

    Hi Tracey

For the past two nights I've taken chelated magnesium, just 50 mg and I've slept well. Before that my sleep was all over the place. It's early days yet but I'm taking another tonight.

I was on 10mg for 2 weeks and have been on 20mg for 3 1/2 weeks, I hardly slept the first couple of weeks. I literally had nights where I would sleep for an hour, and in that hour I would have a nightmare! I'm still waking up quite a few times in the night, but its already much better and I get enough sleep to function now. So hopefully it will

start to improve soon. I can't wait until I'm back sleeping through the night, I didn't have this problem at all before the medication, in fact my body used to do the opposite and if I was anxious I would sleep more!
