I think you mean osteoarthritis. I have it in many joints and it can be treated.

There are many treatments available your doc can best advise knowing your history. The bet this is to exercise and ask for water PT or regulat PT.

ITS wear and tear from use of the joinypts the carthledge wears away and joints can have little to no cushion bone on bone and become very painful.

you are not alone see the many tereatments on this forum ubder osteoarthritis.

    🤗 Hope xxx

Hi Catherine, The best way to get diagnosed is MRI(brain) and spinal tap if needed. Lesions on the brain or spinal cord will indicate MS. EMG will pick up issue with nerves and muscle. Alot of symptoms of fibromyalgia are similar. If you google fibromyalgia vs MS you will see which symptoms. I had so many issues going on I thought I possibly had MS. The neurologist at University of Michigan told me I didn't have MS just a centralize pain syndrome which includes fibromyalgia. I have all the symptoms you listed and plus some except osteoarthritis in my spine. I also have walking difficulty. I'm only 37. If your not seeing a neurologist. I would get a referral to see one. I hope this helps. Hugs OXOX

Hi Catherine;  I totally agree with Kikirae;  to get an accurate answer you need that referral to a Neurologist.  This specialist will order an MRI and have a Spinal Tap performed. These are the 2 main forms of diagnosing/confirming the condition of MS (I had both done to rule out this diagnosis). You should have this visit and testing done ASAP, as earlier treatment (should the tests prove positive), the better the outcome for you, and your controlling of same.    Wishing you well.    Bron
