I'm terrified about my health now

I just recently became sick, it started off with a really bad sore throat at first and then it ended up being a runny nose, sneezing and constant cough. I thought I possibly might have covid, but I just got my test results back and it came back negative, which I'm really relieved to know about. They said I mostly had a common cold and to just stay home until I recover from it, this is my 5th day dealing with the symptoms and I'm honestly starting to worry on how bad my cough is, I keep coughing a lot and I do feel mucus sometimes when I do, I don't have a fever, I'm mostly battling the cough and runny nose, it seems like the cough gets worst at night for me, but I'm not sure if this is normal to be constantly coughing, my anxiety is making it worse thinking I might possibly die with the way I feel so miserable from it. Does anyone know any good home remedies I can use to recover faster or how to reduce myself from coughing so much? I would really appreciate the help.

manuka honey and lemon in a hot drink of water. some lemon halves in as well. breath it in and drink at the same time. usually helps things.

I recently had Covid and had a sore throat and cough with it.

I made myself a concoction of thyme tea, with lemon, grated ginger and honey. I was fine after a few days.

    Best of luck!
