I'm trying to figure out this nail problem.

For maybe about a year now I have this nail problem, my middle finger nail on one hand keeps getting shorter and shorter and now the nail edge (white part of the nail) curves in towards the nail bed (pink part) as well but I dont know whats wrong and if I have any health issues and I've seen a few doctors but they are not helpful at all although they did trim a little and send it off to the lab to test for fungal infection twice but both came back negative and thats all they could do for me it also recently started happening on my index finger on another hand which looks like the nail bed is lifting idkimageimageimage
