i got red dots on the glan after sex with my partner .. i got to know yesterday night.. went to see GP today GP said it seems like its just a normal infection but this evening my partner told me she too getting same kind of red dots on her vagina ! please imageimageimage

    If the photos are actually showing what you see in person you only have very mild symptoms.

    The vagina has a fine balance of bacteria that are naturally present, what happens is that this balance can vary, at particular times of the month, as one example, and imbalances can lead to the development of yeast / fungal infections most typically.

    For sexually active couples one other common route of infection is if you are doing both anal and vaginal within a short period of time, as this is one way in which the vagina can become infected. There are many others ...

    I suggest it would be best for you both to look up fungal and yeast infections by doing relevant searches, get the best information from medical sites that are simply not just trying to sell you products.

    You both need to understand what the likes of clotrimazole is and when and how it needs to be used

      @Wee_Dugie actually we visited the doc last day .. she examined me as well as my partner.. she wrote some std tests fr both of us.. for my partner she said those are genital warts.. i mean how is it possible that i only got this and my partner genital warts.. i mean she said i have some different issue and my partner have different.. is it possible like we both have different type of things ! to be very percise we had sex in the daytime and i found out i have something abnormal on my penis .. and next day she told me she too got something.. thats how it happened or started !

      Sexual health is not my area of interest so you need to rely on what your doctor is telling you.

      Other advice and opinions would be available to you both from sexual health service specialists ....
