im worried about a broken molar i have, i had a cavity when i was younger, later into adulthood the filling came off and i started loosing pieces of my molar im worried it can be fatal or may need emergency care.. ive been dealing with it for a long time now but dont have insurance please help !

hi. I had this happen. Filling came out then a big chunk of my tooth broke off. I needed a crown done because it couldn't be filled. that was it. No other issues. You just need a trip to the dentist to have it sorted.

thank you for the response, unfortunately i dont have insurance right now so i wont be able to go for a while im just worried i will get an infection or something 😦

Hi. Yes sorry it is so different here in the UK. I had to pay about £150 maybe to have a crown. But I had it in that state for about a year I think. It didn't get infected. Are you in pain or have reason to think it is infected? I think having it removed if it is easier for you might be the answer.
