I'm worried and painful for 2 days now. What should I do now?

The newly strange pain which I encountered two days after my PT guy pushed harder my knee to bend than regular.

I past 3 months from patellar surgery treated by internal fixation (Tension Bend Wire left patella).

I used to excercises with pain under bearable extent but this new psin is excruciation and I feel the wires irritating my skin painfully which hinders and stop my regular excercises which is discouraging. My ROM is only 30-35 degrees yet after 2 weeks of PT.

Go and see surgeon don’t let a physio near your knee ! Most are useless in my experience and have no idea ! They try and get you to do too much , I had none after my knee op , well very little as he said it was too painful to push it, luckily one with more brain

Thank you Jenny! I appreciate the response! I have discontinued my PT and will go see my surgeon soon. Knee fractures are awful!

I agree, Go see your surgeon or doctor. In the meantime Rest Ice and elevate. I'm not sure about the compress with this strange pain your having.

Maybe take an anti-inflammatory tablet. If I overdo I take a Difene going to bed and it works wonders.

One quick comment, I must be blessed, both Physios I have had have been fantastic.

    Take care,

    Alan
