I'm worried my wound has come open only had surgery yesterday

Only had surgery yesterday and my wound is really painful just worried it may have come open

      My gf works in theatres she said it will bleed a tiny bit and not to worry unless you can see it coming through the bandage

    Hi Gary' where is the wound, and is it immobilised, if it is an achilles and is immobilised it is very unlikely to have opened, as there is no stress on the wound, tearing of stitches or clips would be extremely painful which would have to happen for a wound to open, some weeping or bleeding is normal as the edges of the wound start to bind together but if the wound had opened up so soon after surgery you would have significant bleeding, I was on anti-coagulants and didnt have any real bleeding from the wound, but better safe than sorry, go to A&E or phone the Trauma unit who did the op and ask for advice, Remember surgery is a massive insult to the body and some pain is inevitable.
