I missed a pill now I’m heavily bleeding is this normal?

Hi, im on the pill tri-lo-estarylla and on the start week i missed a pill which i took the next day along with the pill i was supposed to take for that day. I took week 1s pills normally everything was fine now week 2 i started to bleed heavily and have the worst cramps ever. this has been going on for 6 days now and its not even time for when my period usually comes. i dont know what is happening to me or if this is my period but i am in a lot of pain and hoping someone can provide some insight.
