I must be going crazy or dying

For almost a month now I have felt dizziness, weird head feeling- like ballooned light headed, tiered eyes, feeling off balance but don't seem to loose balance, heavy below ears feeling, hard to concentrate, feel my heart race. I feel my eyes super strained and tired. I saw cardiologist- nothing. Blood tests are fine. I probably have some neuro or brain problem, or simply going crazy! I am getting so depressed. Can it be peri that makes me so ill?! wtf is going on? I want to cry all day ....:( HELP!

you are not going crazy. it is definitely peri. I have all your symptoms. Had bloods and chest xray all came back fine. It's an horrendous feeling. Today I have no energy whatsoever and pains in my neck shoulder and legs. I'm on herbal supplements at the moment. I hope this helps knowing your not going crazy. Take care x

thank you so much for answering! I am trying to make changes as well- I now drink just camomile or elderflower tea and no coffee. I eat fruits and veggies, take vitamins. I am sorry you are suffering with that too. Hearing that other people have it makes me feel tad less anxious but I wish we didn't have to suffer like that. I still have moments when I am convinced I must be dying! Aren't we all?! thank you again!

i had this for a while and it comes and goes .. i feel that it is your hormones flutuating up and down. I had that pretty bad but know that its common during perimenopause. That being said.. it doesnt make it easier .. its always scary but it did help knowing i wasnt alone and reading from this site. The light headed feeling and you almost feel like you could pass out or some thing .. Then the heart palpations. then that makes you feel super out of control .. i am sorry your feeling this way but your not alone.

Nope, you are not going crazy. I have been feeling the same thing on and off for 2 years now. The head stuff is scary to me. You're right It feels like a balloon, light head feeling, feeling I'm not thinking totally good. I think this is my worst meno symptom. I had a MRI and blood work and everything has checked out ok. It's so stressful! Just know that you are not alone. A lot of women go through this stupid meno head mess. Just hang in there. Let's pray and Keep trusting God that we will get through. Take Care!

it really can be peri. i have lived through many bouts of such crazy symptoms as our hormones still fluctuates. So hang in there. so long as you know your heart is in good shape, then we just need to plough through these crazy times. i totally know about that dizziness. it is not a spinning dizziness isnt it? it makes you feel off balance a little, things float a little, and causes me to lose a little confidence in long distance driving or long walks. i hate this feeling because it limits me.
So yes, peri can cause this. i am already post and while i get these episodes (3wks bouts), the frequency seems to be reducing.

your not alone i can feel exactly how you describe and i think its one of the scariest symptom iv experience. it was worse in peri, had it on a daily basis but been in meno for 5yrs and still get it. i do now realise the more i get anxious about it the more intense it feel so i try not to let it scare me as much.
i know its hard and it has made me housebound on many occasions , i sometimes cant even walk down the road as i feel ill fall over or faint.
Try not to let it get to you and just take care of yourself, i really hope it will pass for you and leave you the hell alone. x
