Hello, its been 3 weeks.now.since i had my hemorroidectomy surgery. I have, minor blood leaks, yellow liquid that smells so bad that i have to pat my ass every 2 to 3 hours with tissue paper because.of that leakage, no pain on bowel movements and lastly i still have 3 piles left, they told me they couldnt remove it all in one go because i might lose the control in holding my bm. And now its almost 3 weeks and when i stand up straight, i looked at the mirror pointed at my butt chicks and its sticking out and it doesnt look good.
I cant sit down normally i usually depend on my thighs or left butt chick to hold my weight and cant sit for a straight hour.
Doc. Said if the meds cant lessen the lump, i may have to go for a second surgery to remove the left piles,oh god i want it all removed, i dont want it stickin out of my ass... Good thing i dont habe a gf or wife or i will be devastated, just looking at it myself makes me want to kill myself.
I hope you guys are all okay and doing better, i feel your pain.
Ill update you probably at the end of the month to share experience and what will happen next.

Hi there Rhod. Just want to encourage you that you've made a good decision for yourself. I too have recently had a hem-ectomy 8 days ago. I too also have some skin tags which is partially do to swelling and also will eventually help with needing stretching when healing is complete. *Rhod, be more kind to yourself dear one. Try to keep a healthy perspective for your self. You have 1 functioning body. Love it and it will reward you back. Thank goodness you have a functioning anus. Really. This may sounds silly but can't you imagine having to use other means to defecate? Appreciate your bum. When you don't compare it (comparing is a no-no) then you are able to see it's actually a wonderful bum. And if you had a gf or wife...if they had real love for you ..guess what? The look of your anus wouldn't matter. You must show love to your body to help it heal with ease. Be kind and loving to yourself. You are worthy of that love! If your bum could talk o bet it would say.."I could really use a hug-I just need to know I'm enough." :-) love your way!

Hi Rhod
You know what, Tracy is right. And to add to that, If you had a gf or wife, I'm sure they would love you either way, and be helping to take care of you during this difficult time.
So, it must be about 5 wks since u had your surgery, right? How are you doing now?? I'm so sorry they still have to remove more..ouch
Power to you for having the strength to go through another one which I'm sure it's for the best.
I just had my hemorrhoidectomy 22 days ago. It has been quite painful. I'm so glad to hear from you that your bms are pain free! OMG, my bms are still very much painful
I thought the worse was over with, but yesterday morning I realized that's not the case. I, too, still have minor bleeding throughout day & blood increases every time I have a bm. I also have lots of rectal mucuos/discharge throughout day. Besides using baby wipes to clean up every time I use bathroom and washing up down thete after each bm, I use pads daily, and change them every time I go to bathroom. But I'm used to wearing pads for about a wk every month anyways, lol.
I can't sit well on my rectum either, but plan on getting a doughnut pillow for the meantime while I still recovery. Pain is usually bad after bm in addition to painful bm, so still just waiting for better days.
I wish you all the best. Hope you're doing much better & like Tracy said, plz love yourself. I hope you keep us posted on your journey. Please take it easy, take care and God Bless

Hey everyone, I had my op back in Sept. I looked like I'd been cut with a ginger bread biscuit cutter. B/m were horrendously painful. 2 massive Skin tags. Then I had some narrowing so I had to use a dilator. I'm actually a woman (missed off the a on my name) & single & cant even think about starting a new relationship the way I've been.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. The Dilator worked, as much as it hurt at the beginning. Finally having b/m's with little pain. The 'ginger bread man' has healed & it looks great. Still have the tags which I'm not happy about, but these can come off in about 6 months, as my surgeon said he doesn't want to put a scar over a scar as the anus is very sensitive!!
Anyhow, once the tags are off & healed, then I think I can say it was the right decision to have gone through with this op. But wow what an ordeal.
Everyone at the early stages, hang in there, it does get better, but it takes time. I was told 2 wks!!!! It's been nearly 8 months for me!! Good luck all x
