I need an advice please! H pylori or not??!

In the last two years i suffered from a stomach pain after meals not regular but from time to time.
In the last few months i seem to have the pain 3-4 time a week. And its only after dinner but not everyday. The pain starts at the top of the stomach and then the whole stomach and it feels tender and i can not bend, i also feel bloating and better when i pass wind pain lasts for 3 hours and after that no pain at all. The pain is in my stomach from just under chest bones to the lower abdomen.
And during the day when i do not have pain if i press on the left and right side of my stomach its tender.
Other symptoms i have is a feeling that something stuck in my throat spaecially when drinking.
Also i suffer from bad breath.
Stools are normal and no diarrhea. No blood in stools or vomitting. Normal appetite and no weight loss.
I have a feeling its h pylori as i have the most symptoms but i had a stool test done last week and when i called to ask about the result they told me its normal and no action needed. GP prescribed me omeprazole 20mg to take for 28 days.
Any advice on what it could be? And is it possible the stool test missed the h pylori?
P.s. Pain is only after dinner.
Thanks

A stool test is one of the most reliable tests for hpylori. You could under the Patients Charter for England and Wales ask for a second opinion and have a breath test or endoscopy...assuming you live in UK of course......best wishes....

Yes it gives better results than a blood test, but it is neither as accurate, as cheap or as easy to administer as a breath test.
It's a long time since I heard of anybody being given a stool test.

Yes, just say you want a second opinion and request a breath test. If it is a negative result then obviously something else is causing your pain....best wishes...
