I need help figuring out what these ulcers on my vagina are.

On Monday out of no where these random red spots appeared. They were fairly sore. But over the next couple of days they turned into these ulcers and became very very painful. I had to go to A&e because it hurt so much to pee. They did a swab test and it was negative for herpes. I am currently trying to book in a health clinic for a check up anyway.

My partner and I have only been with each other for 4 years and he has no symptoms.

any update on this? I have one ulcer that looks like yours and I have develop so much anxiety about what it is.

I've seen so many pictures like yours, and many ppl say herpes straight away, so the fact that it isn't gives me some kind of hope

hello, I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing something similar.

Sadly I think my answer might not be helpful for you. My ulcers disappeared after just over a week.

I'm not sure what caused that. When I went to A&E (before I had tested negative for herpes) the nurse did initially think that's what I could have. So she prescribed me some medication. This was a numbing gel to help with the pain whilst I tried to pee, some pain killers and Aciclvior. I took the Aciclvior for 3 full days and at the point my test came back negative so I stopped taking them.

Lucky for me I have not had any further issues since that one week.

I'm sorry that this isn't more helpful. I hope you get better soon!

thank you so much for your reply, and please don't think you wasn't helpful, every little bit of information is useful for me.

im glad your fully recovered, hopefully it never returns!

I was prescribed aciclvior also, but haven't taken it as the ulcer has now gone. I am just awaiting my results and hoping for the best.

      thank you again!

It could be VIN? It's like a precancerous stage for vagina...please get checked with a specialist!
