I need help with my skin urgently

Hello everyone and first of all thank you for reading my topic and potentially answering.

So I do not want to make it extra long so I try to make it as short as possible. I had problems with my skin for a long time and I thought it was because I was in my teens or because of food allergies but now, being 27, I still have these problems which really burdens me.

My problem is mostly around my mouth area, especially but not entirely underneath my mouth and also a bit my neck;

My nose or my forehead or my cheek are mostly unaffected, see the pictures

  1. I went to two dermatologists - as I was thinking it's from a food allergy, the first one suggested my a blood test which I did; He said he does not believe in a skin prick test, as it is extremely unreliable. I avoided the food stated that I am allergic to in the test but did not succeed. The second one said a blood test is entirely useless because even if you are having a high IgE or IgE value, it does not mean you get break outs from it because antibodies do not mean that your body really reacts to the food by acne or something dramatic; He said since it is around the mouth area it is probably from wearing masks(COVID) and gave me an antibiotic cream and ivermectin cream;

  2. To be sure that no food allergy is involved, I am currently trying to eat as clean as possible - I totally avoided everything that usually causes allergies, i.e. nuts, dairy, eggs, grain, soy, chocolate, tomatoes etc.

    For the past days all I was eating was meat, rice, potatoes, tuna, salmon, vegetable oil, vinegar, apples, oats, some juice, lentils and kidney beans as all these things are said to be hypoallergic; I am now at day 3 but I cannot see any real advantage, so I think the reason for my bad skin is not caused by food allergies

    Simultaneously, I changed my bed sheets every day, I showered every day directly before going to bed and washed my face three times - in the morning, during lunch time and in the evening during the shower but it did not help either

The very interesting thing is that ivermectin cream actually works but only as long as I use it and using it every day is certainly also not a long term solution; So I am currently trying to find out, why the ivermectin cream is working

It is used to treat parasite infestations but also rosacea and blepharitis but I don't think that I have one of the latter ones;

So now I am having the following questions:

  1. Is it possible that I have something other than some parasite infestation but still ivermectin is helping me? I read some studies that ivermectin was helping lots of people with acne and I do not think that all of these people had some parasite infestation?
  2. If I have a parasite infestation - why did the cream not help me? What else could I do? How about taking ivermectin orally?

I am really desperate and would be very happy about any answers;

Cheers

    I think its pustular acne and it can go on for years if not checked. Dont take Ivermectin, you need a proper antibiotic , maybe taken over several months. never squeeze or pop these outbreaks, it just spreads the infection deeper into the skin layers.

    I'm sure its not a parasite. You could try getting a face cream with retinol as the active ingredient but do a patch test first on a tiny area of skin as it can be quite irritant on some people. Overall the antibiotics would be the best action I think.
