I need hope, 18 days on sertraline 75 mg.

I was 2 weeks on 25 mg, 2 weeks on 50 mg, and now 18 days on sertraline. For the past few days I've been feeling like in a dream state. It's really scaring me. I heard it's depersonalization/derealization. I didn't have this before sertraline. I'm taking this for depression. My depression is no better and this anxiety with dream like state is scary. The benzos I've tried aren't helping. Please someone, tell me you've also experienced this on sertraline and if I keep at it, it will go away. How long did the suggested dose take for you to get over this.

Hi. I have been on setraline for around 5 months. A month or two on 50mg then the rest on 100mg. I came of it at christmas time my main issue was restless legs and very bad mood swings. I was supplementing with holland and barrett 5htp. Well I crashed and am now back on setraline 50mg. I'm doing good with the 50mg. Fingers crossed. To rachel. My only issue at the minute is I was getting restless legs when I was taking it in the mornings. I have now switched to night time. Last night I took it at 12 well I was so drowsy this smorning. I am about to take one now, In the hopes I am not too drowsy as I start a new job tomorrow! When do you guys take yours?

    Hello Sarah

I have been taking Sertraline for 11 weeks and at the beginning thought I would have to come off them as side effects so dreadful, nausea, heightened anxiety, agitation, not sleeping, not wanting to go out etc but I persevered and after 4 weeks began to see a gradual improvement. Up until yesterday I have felt just like my old self but having a slight blip at the moment. I am told this is normal.

Do carry on if you can as they do help.

What dose were you on when after 4 weeks you started to feel better? Thank you! I'm having a major panic attack right now. I hate clonazepam, but had to take it anyway.

      Hi Sarah

I started on 50mg but after two weeks my docror suggested I halve it and take 25mg as I was having such dreadful side effects.

I have continued on 25mg but am now wondering if I should up it to 50mg.
