You might need a second opinion from another urologist doctor...Also, prostate medications take some time to improve your condition..Also, you may need an ulktrasound and CT Scan to determine if you might have prostate cancer. A urologist's digital exam by itself is inconclusive...Normally, 80% of men over 45 years old have a swollen prostate and require some relief...Also, have a PSA test. There's various prostate treatments based on your specific condition...It could be medication for an extended time, non-invasive surgery, or invasive surgery including prostate removal..GOOD LUCK!...

If your only issue is BPH then try getting off the meds and see how you do. No symptoms, no problems, no matter what the doc saus. If they suspect cancer, that's something else entirely.

Its more than likely that when he massaged your prostate he irritated it.

After i had my proatate massaged my condition got worse for 6 weeks and then

settled down again. On a similar level Imagine massaging an infection in your eye, it would make it much worse. But do finish the medication. It can not harm you.
